The Chronicles of Elberon is Rick Ferguson's epic, heavy-metal fantasy trilogy telling the story of Prince Elberon of the Isles and his reluctant involvement in a quest to collect the Ten Phylaxes of Koschei the Deathless, the evil undead wizard attempting to conquer the Free Kingdoms of Woerth. A self-aware and meta fantasy series, The Chronicles of Elberon owes as much to Monty Python, Deadpool, Hunter S. Thompson, and Catch-22 as it owes to Tolkien, Pratchett, and Moorcock.
Dungeon of Doom includes three short adventures undertaken during the early years of Elberon’s long career. The three stories include:
Random Encounter: In which an encounter with a shady cleric and a blue dragon might result in our heroes dying horribly.
The Rod of Lordly Might: In which our heroes risk dying horribly to retrieve an enchanted weapon.
Dungeon of Doom: In which our heroes enter the doomiest dungeon on Woerth, where they may die horribly.
